The USA's star swimmer, Michael Phelps has bagged three gold medals in three days at the Rio Olympics, becoming the oldest individual swimming gold medallist in Olympic history at 31.
The most decorated Olympian of all-time will look to take his medal tally to 26 on Wednesday when he will compete in the men's 200 metres individual medley.
Phelps continues his dominance in swimming as he has won the highest medal in every event he has participated so far at Rio 2016.
He bagged a gold medal in the 4x100 metres freestyle relay on Day 2 of the Games before adding two more gold medals to USA's chart by finishing on the top in men's 200 metres butterfly and 4x200 metres freestyle relay.
Phelps captured his 20th Olympic gold medal in devastating fashion, sealing the victory with a kiss, before adding a staggering 21st before the Tuesday night was over.
He thrashed his arch rival Chad le Clos to regain his 200 metres butterfly title. That win was special because the South African Le Clos won by a fingertip four years ago in London to rob the American of a hat-trick of titles.
The American swimmer has two events left at Rio - men's 200 metres individual medley and men's 100 metres butterfly - the events he has historically won at the past three Olympics.
