Yeddyurappa terms 'Operation Lotus' rumour, says Congress - JD(S) is trying to poach MLAs

Yeddyurappa clarified that the BJP MLAs had gathered together to discuss strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and that everything else was a rumour. He blamed that the chief minister had offered the BJP MLAs ministry and money.

BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa returned to Bengaluru after paying the ailing Siddaganga Mutt seer a visit in Tumakuru. Speaking to media, he clarified that the BJP was not trying to conduct Operation Lotus and they had gathered to discuss about probable candidates and strategy for Lok Sabha elections. He said that on the contrary, chief minister Kumaraswamy had offered a ministerial post and money to one of the BJP MLAs.
