Bengaluru: Former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday (August 17) accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ignoring Karnataka during floods. He termed Modi’s attitude as “disgraceful”.

Taking to Twitter, Siddaramaiah said, "None of the previous govts or PMs, including Shri Vajpayee, had ignored Karnataka during Natural calamities. But the attitude of Narendra Modi towards Karnataka and Yediyurappa, inspite of 25 MPs, is disgraceful (sic)."

Siddaramaiah further said that the Kannadigas would never tolerate this "callous attitude".

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader further warned the state government by stating that such a move should be condemned, and wide-spread protests would be carried out to protect the interests of the common man.
