Is Bengaluru evolving backwards in terms of women representation in elections?

The IT capital of India, Bengaluru, which in the recent decades may have collected a lot of acknowledgement for its success in various fields, still continues to be the rabbit of the legendary tale. With Karnataka elections 2018 nearing, the buzz around the name of the male candidates is gaining momentum but no one seems to care about one of the crucial factors- representation of women in Karnataka assembly elections.
