Bengaluru: A Bengaluru journalist working with a TV channel in the city has allegedly committed suicide and was found hanging from the ceiling of his house on Wednesday morning (June 5).
The deceased journalist Nayaz Khan was a reporter with Praja TV, a Kannada news channel in Karnataka.
The journalist was found dead in his room in his residence in KR Puram. It was his wife who entered the room in the morning and was shocked to see her husband’s body hanging from the ceiling.
Reports said that the KR Puram police have registered a case of unnatural death. The body was sent for postmortem. The reason for his death is still not known and police are investigating.
Bangalore city police commissioner, T Suneel Kumar has also visited the spot.
