Food delivery service Food Panda has roped in Bollywood star Sunny Leone for their digital marketing campaign. The announcement came from the Food Panda team on Wednesday. Leone has already started promoting Food Panda from her official Twitter account.

The promotional videos and the ads can be viewed on Food Panda’s social media pages on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter. However this is not going to be a long-term association, the company confirmed in a statement released for the press.

The chief marketing officer of Food Panda, Gagan Arora, has stated that in this crisis post demonetisation, this food delivery service with cashless transactions is what people need. Also, to add Sunny Leone for this campaign, they are happy.

 

It is believed that Food Panda was looking for buyers as the company was running on loss. Now as they have roped in someone like Leone, it will be interesting to see whether Food Panda revives its brand image again.
