One of the tiring aspects of holi is cleaning off the colours. No matter how many times you try, the colours tend to stick, and it takes a long while for it go off.

 

These ingredients can be easily found in the nearby grocers or even in your kitchen cabinet.

 

Coconut Oil:    

 


This versatile ingredient is used for a number of cases. The coconut oil can be used to remove stubborn stains. Before you wash yourself, you need to liberally add coconut oil on yourself, and then add soap. An alternative is to make a paste of wheat flour, lemon juice and coconut oil before applying it on your skin.


 

Mud pack:
 


Also known as multhani mitti, this face pack is a great way to remove holi colours.

 

 

Hair Colour:   



To get rid of residual hair colour, add a mix of egg yolk, fenugreek and curd together, and let it rest on your head for 20 minutes. Then shampoo your hair after that. Your hair colour will disappear easily.
 

 

Glycerin: 



Rinse your face with warm water after applying a mixture of glycerin and rose water.

 

 

Body: 



Make your own body scrub by adding a mix of gram flour, turmeric, olive oil, lemon and curd. Apply this mixture liberally on your body and wash off.
