At 8,500 feet on a Siberian mountain range called Altai Mountains lies the highest weather station in the world.
It is inhabited by four resident meteorologists who man this remote outpost, and use this loo.
Not only do these scientists have to battle extreme temperatures at a freezing -50 degrees, this loo is not only outdoors, but is perched at the edge of a cliff.
And because of it’s extreme location, the only way these scientists can get their supplies is via a helicopter.
This weather station was set up in 1939 in Stalin to monitor weather conditions and assit pilots between Siberia and the Far East.
