1. Oral decay: 
 




This is one of the more obvious ones. Excessively chewing gum leads to an oral decay because you damage your teeth. Certain preservatives and sweeteners present in gums lead to the erosion of teeth enamel.



 

2. Chronic Headaches:    
 



Chewing gum can lead to muscles tightening up near the temples and may restrict the flow of blood because of the added pressure whilst chewing leading to chronic headaches.
