While Tokyo 2020 chief Hidemasa Nakamura has stated that it would be complicated to get rid of the virus entirely, the organising committee has mechanisms to identify the infected quickly and contain the spread. "We hope to provide a safe environment for all, and of course, we need everyone's help," he said.NOTE: Asianet News humbly requests everyone to wear masks, sanitise, maintain social distancing and get vaccinated as soon as eligible.
