Besides, he also holds countless other records in the circuit. Federer has hardly anything left to achieve, from being number one for the most number of weeks to win more than 100 ATP titles.

While he missed most of the action in 2020, following knee surgery, he is also set to miss out on the initial phase of 2021. Nonetheless, he still has some records up for grab, as we take a look at the same.

Most tour-level wins: Federer has won more than 1,000 matches in his ATP World Tour career, as he currently has 1,242 wins. Meanwhile, he would be eyeing the all-time record of Jimmy Connors, who had won 1,274 matches in his career. But, for that to happen, Federer would have to be consistent enough this year and win all the games he plays, which is indeed a daunting task.

Most ATP titles: As of now, Federer has won 103 ATP titles. He can script a significant record this year, as with seven more ATP title wins, he would once again go past Connors' record of 109, making him the most successful player in the ATP circuit.
undefined
Indoor wins (300): Federer happens to be the only active player in the circuit to possess more than 200 indoor wins at the tour-level. He has a chance to script his 300th tour-level indoor win this year, while he would become the eighth player to do so.

Most Slams: Federer has won 20 Slams, as he holds the record along with Spain's Rafael Nadal, who matched the Swiss after winning the French Open last year. Federer needs just a win to once again lead in terms of winning the most Slams. However, it certainly won't be easy for him now.

Golden Slam: Not just the Grand Slams, Federer also has the chance of becoming the first male player and the second tennis player in history to win a Golden Slam in a year. Provided he even wins gold in the Tokyo Olympics this year, Federer would attain the glorious feat. In case he manages just to win the gold in Tokyo, he would complete his career Golden Slam, thus becoming the third male player to do so, after Andre Agassi and Nadal.
undefined
Double Slam: Federer has won most of the Slams on multiple occasions, barring the French Open, which he has won just once. Provided he wins at Roland Garros this year, he would become the first male player to win each Slam at least twice, provided Nadal does not win the AO before, which would make the latter the first.
