Sidharth Shukla to Sushant Singh Rajput: Actors who passed away at a young age

TV star Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack today, September 2 at the age of 40. Here are some of the performers who passed away at a young age.
 

The winner of Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth Shukla, well known for his role in the TV series Balika Vadhu, died on September 2 in Mumbai of a heart attack.
According to PTI, he took some medication before going to bed and did not wake up. The hospital has now verified that he died as a result of a heart attack. Sidharth Shukla, 40, is survived by his mother, Rita Shukla, and two sisters.

Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead on June 14, 2020, hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Bandra, Mumbai. The official postmortem findings determined that Rajput died of suffocation due to hanging, and the cause of death was judged to be suicide. The Mumbai Police Department started an inquiry into the incident, which had sparked considerable curiosity and suspicions.

Rajput had checked the Internet many times a week before his death for three subjects: Disha Salian, his former manager who had died approximately a week before him; news items featuring his name; and material regarding mental illness. His demise led to the debate on nepotism across the country. 

Sonchiriya (2019), MS Dhoni ( 2016), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, Shudh Desi Romance (2013) and Kai Po Che! (2013) are some of his memorable performances.

The music composer died on June 1, 2020, at the age of 42, in a Mumbai hospital from coronavirus complications that led to renal problems. Wajid Khan is a music director best known for his compositions for Salman Khan's blockbuster films such as 'Wanted,' the 'Dabangg' trilogy, and 'Ek Tha Tiger.'

Sajid-Wajid made their Bollywood debut in 1998 with Salman Khan's Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya and composed several albums for the superstar's flicks, including Chori Chori, Hello Brother, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Partner, Wanted, and Dabangg. Sajid-Wajid most recently composed Salman's "Bhai Bhai" single.

Pratyusha Banerjee, who played Anandi in the television series Balika Vadhu, died on April 1, 2016. She was discovered hanging at her Goregaon home. Her live-in lover Rahul Raj Singh took the actress to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Andheri, confirmed dead. There was no suicide note discovered.

She rose to prominence with Balika Vadhu, and this is her first significant role. With this serial, she became known as Anandi.

Jiah Khan was discovered dead in her Juhu residence on June 3, 2013. She was suspended from a ceiling fan. The actress was in a relationship with actor Sooraj Pancholi before her death. The actress's sister discovered a six-page suicide note reportedly intended for her lover, Sooraj Pancholi. Jiah said in the letter that she intended to terminate her life and that she and Sooraj had a falling out. She had a promising start as an 18-year-old in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Nishabd,' opposite megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Because of the sensual content between the primary couple, the picture generated a lot of attention before its release.

Jiah Khan made an appearance in Aamir Khan's action thriller 'Ghajini.' It was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2008 and the first Bollywood film to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark domestically, establishing the 100 crore club. She was next seen in the comedy picture 'Housefull.' She played Devika K. Samtani, Akshay Kumar's character's ex-wife, in a supporting role.

On June 7, 2020, Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja died at a metropolitan hospital. He was 39 years old. He is believed to have died as a result of a heart attack. The industry was taken aback by the news. He came from a family of performers, with his maternal grandpa Shakti Prasad, uncle Arjun Sarja, and younger brother Dhruva Sarja all working in the South Indian film business.

In 2009, he began his career with Kishore Sarja's Vayuputra. Since then, he has been in several successful films, including Amma I Love You (2018), Rudra Tandavaa (2015), and Whistle (2013).

On April 5, 1993, Divya Bharti fell from the balcony window of her Versova apartment. She died when she was 19 years old. When her guests Neeta Lulla and Shyam Lulla, as well as Bharti's maid Amrita Kumari and neighbours, realised what had happened, she was rushed in an ambulance to Cooper Hospital's emergency department, where she died.

Her death was ruled to be the result of severe head injuries and internal haemorrhage. She became well-known in the 1990s for her roles in films such as 'Deewana,' 'Dil Hi To Hai,' and 'Shola Aur Shabnam,' among others.

Smita died two weeks after giving birth to her son, Prateik Babbar, on December 13, 1986, as a result of childbirth difficulties. Over the span of a decade, Smita Patil, considered one of the best stage and film actresses of her generation and one of the greatest film actresses of all time, appeared in over 80 Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
Throughout her career, she received two National Film Awards and one Filmfare Award. Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, was bestowed to her in 1985.
