Kangana Ranaut's film Thalaivi got leaked online. For many years several films have faced the trouble of piracy. And now, this time, it is Thalaivi's turn. 

Today on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the movie is released in theatres across India. The film is on the life of South actress and late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

According to the latest reports, some infamous websites like Tamilrockerz, Movierulz, Telegram, and more have leaked Kangana's film online.

Yesterday, Kangana went to Delhi dressed in Sabyasachi Mukherjee's copper saree with gold jhumkas and met Union Minister Smriti Irani. "With real life #Thalaivii @smritiiraniofficial," she captioned the photo.

She also did her film screening for members of parliament, including Iranna Kadadi, Sandhya Ray, Arvind Sharma and Ashok Bajpai. A.L.Vijay directs the film, and the music composer of the film is G.V.Prakash Kumar.

Many film critics appreciated Kangana's performance, and some of the social media users who watched the film said that she would get her 5th National Award for this film.

It is said, Kangana gained 20-kilo weight to look exactly like Jayalalitha. Talking about politics and politicians, she told IANS, "I had very primitive thinking about politics. Like these are fortunate people who get so much power. But after working on this movie and doing research, my thinking changed. I realised that politics is not at all easy, and there are several challenges."

Kangana also said that she is a nationalist and speaks for the country because she is responsible. When she was asked if she wanted to join politics, the actress said, "As far as entering politics is concerned, I might need a lot of support from the public, but I am happy to be an actress right now. But if tomorrow people like me and support me, then definitely I would love to."
