KGF 2 actor Sanjay Dutt has undergone many medical treatments for his health condition. But, situations got worse in 2020, and he took a break from acting.

On 11 August 2020, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, but he didn't reveal it that time. After two months, the actor admitted that he was fighting with the deadly disease and won the battle. But, do you know that the doctors said he had a 50-50 chance?

Recently Sanjay Dutt shared his experience at a virtual meeting for Cancer Up to Date: Cancer Care Advances in a COVID-19 Reality on World Cancer Day, he said, "When the news was broken, there was a lot of anger inside me and I wondered why me. People take a lot of time to decide how they want to take their treatment further but I had to make a decision quickly because I felt that I didn't have much time. So I accepted my illness and once I did, I thought I'll fight the cancer no matter what. When I came to meet Dr Sewanti Limaye for the first time, it was with this mindset."

When Dutt met Dr Sewanti, she told him there would be a 50-50 per cent chance of survival, but she wanted him to be on the positive side. The actor said, "It was then that I decided to make sure that I'll always be on the brighter side no matter what I have to go through."

Sanjay took to his social media platforms to share his happiness after defeating this deadly disease, named as Cancer. The post read, "The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kids' birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can-the health and well-being of our family."
