Janhvi Kapoor to Sobhita Dhulipala, actors of 'Ghost Stories' shared their real-life horror experience

'Ghost Stories' is a series of four horror stories directed by four different directors, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap. It is the sequel of Lust Stories that streamed in 2018.
 

Several actors including Sobhita Dhulipala, Janhvi Kapoor, Avinash Tewari, Gulshan Devaiah, Mrunal Thakur acted in Ghost Stories. These actors took their Instagram profiles to share their real-life horror experiences.

Sobhita DhulipalaSobhita who never saw a ghost for herself, but shared a quirky comment, "I haven't had any paranormal experiences, but if I were a ghost--not that human guilt isn't haunting enough--I would enjoy the perks. I wouldn't need a visa, and wouldn't have to pay bills!"

Janhvi KapoorJanhvi played one of the characters in the series Ghost Stories and once she shared her paranormal encounter, though she hasn't seen a ghost. She said, "Apart from being a classic ghost story, the script resonated with me on a very deep level. Something that spooked me out was that after we wrapped the shoot, about 10 of us fell really, really sick".

Mrunal ThakurMrunal, who was last seen in Super 30, acted in this series of Karan Johar's segment too. She said, "While shooting the wedding night scene, the cameraman looked through the camera and said, 'I told you guys, I don't want that white light from the window' but there was no one standing near the window".

Gulshan DevaiahGulshan will also be seen in one of the episodes of the series in the leading role, said, "Nothing spooky happened on set, but I once saw a woman dressed in a white saree walking on a main road in Delhi in the middle of the night. It was... odd".

Vijay VarmaMirzapur 2 actor, Vijay Varma was also a part of Ghost Stories. He said, "What got me excited about Ghost Stories was that I got to work with Zoya Akhtar again. The set was great, but we didn't really get the time to notice scary occurrences... maybe that was scary? But when I was in 10th, my friend's sister got 'possessed'. Later I watched Bhool Bhulaiya, and realized that it could be psychological".
