Karan Johar and Dharma Productions took to their Instagram profile to make their big announcement irrespective of language, regions a couple of days back. On January 18, they unleashed the poster and the name of their upcoming project with the South superstar Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood new sensation Ananya Panday.

Vijay's Hindi debut film was supposed to be named, Fighter but turned out to be Liger which has been mostly shot before Covid-19 could hit the nations. Vijay suggested the director's name even though Karan was not so keen to take him up under his team name. But, he couldn't say no to Vijay. They budgeted the film in Rs 125 crores, and Vijay will be speaking his own lines in Hindi. The movie will release in five languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam and Kannada.
