A few years ago, in a chat show with Rajeev Khandelwal, Rakhi opened up about her previous life and struggling days. Rakhi shared that her mother picked garbage at the hospitals, A few time, they did not have food to eat and had to look for leftover foods.

"My mother worked in the hospital and used to pick up the garbage strip there. We also had problems with eating and used to find leftover food," said Rakhi.
