Yesterday, Yuvika Chaudhary was arrested for allegedly using a casteist slur in a video, which she uploaded on social media. Yuvika, who is also the wife of Bigg Boss 9 winner Prince Narula was booked under the SC/ST Act, was later granted interim bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
According to ANI, Yuvika's lawyer Ashok Bishnoi said, 'My client has joined the investigation as per the guidelines given by the High Court and she is on interim bail now (in a case of alleged offensive remarks against Scheduled Castes on a social media platform)."
"Hi guys I didn't know the meaning of that word that I used in my last vlog. I didn't mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone. I apologise to each and everyone. I hope you all understand and love you all," she wrote.
Her husband, Prince Narula, also supported his wife and commented, "Baby jo hua galti se hua. Don't worry main aapke saath hoon aur aapne maafi bhi maang li hai so I love you."
Actress Meera Mitun was also landed into legal trouble after posting a video wherein she said a casteist slur while complaining about a director allegedly stealing her photo and using it for a movie’s first look.
