Bengali actress, TMC MP Nusrat Jahan blessed with baby boy

TMC MP and Bengali actress Nusrat Jahan was admitted to Neotia Hospital in Kolkata. Reports suggest that the actress is blessed with a baby boy.

Nusrat delivered a baby boy this afternoon in a Kolkata hospital. Both Nusrat and her baby are doing fine. According to reports, Nusrat was admitted to Neotia Hospital in Kolkata last night, August 25. 

The report also suggests that Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta drove Nusrat to the hospital. It was said that Nusrat reportedly visited a city hospital in Kolkata for a check-up and was soon admitted.

According to TOI's report, Nusrat's due date was around the end of August or early September. A source close to Nusrat told TOI, "She is scheduled to get admitted to the hospital either today or tomorrow."

Nusrat shared a post today morning. She wrote, "Faith Over Fear #positivity #morningvibesmany (sic)."

A few months back, Nusrat was in the news when she released a statement claiming that her wedding with businessman husband Nikhil Jain was not valid under Indian laws. Both Nikhil and Nushrat got married in a destination wedding in Bodrum, Turkey, in 2019. The wedding had taken place following Turkish Marriage Regulation, the marriage is invalid in India.

Later, reports came in that alleges Nusrat is reportedly dating actor-politician Yash Dasgupta. Nusrat and Yash Dasgupta acted in the Bengali film 'SOS Kolkata', which took place in August 2020.

In a statement, Nikhil Jain said that last year on November 5, Nusrat left his flat with his personal belongings and shifted to her Ballygunge house last year. Since then, they never stayed together as husband and wife.
