Aryan Khan to be released on Saturday morning; Juhi Chawla gives surety

The formalities for the release of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan on bail will now be completed on Saturday

The formalities for the release of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan on bail will now be completed on Saturday. According to Arthur Road prison officials, Aryan may be released from prison on Saturday morning as the bail papers had not reached them till the stipulated time.

Shah Rukh, who had reportedly come to take Aryan home, has returned to his residence Mannat after the lawyers told him that his son would be released only on Saturday. The jail dropbox, where the release writ is first dropped, will now open only at 5:30 AM on Saturday.

Aryan's bail order stipulates that he bail released on a personal bail bond of Rs 1 lakh and one or more sureties of similar amount. Shah Rukh Khan's industry co-star Juhi Chawla stood surety for Aryan. Besides, the Bombay High Court laid out 13 condition to be complied with by Aryan and two other accused in the cruise ship drug bust case, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha.

13 bail conditions

The conditions stipulate that they should not indulge in any similar activities. They are not allowed to make any statement to the media about the case or take any action that will be prejudicial to the case proceedings. The trio has also been directed not to try and establish contact with the co-accused or try to tamper with the evidence and influence witnesses. 

The three accused have to mark their presence in the Narcotics Control Bureau office every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm and join the agency's investigation as and when summoned. Further, the trio has been told not to leave the country or the jurisdiction without permission and surrender their passports before the Special Court.

To recall, Justice Nitin Sambre had granted bail to Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun after a three-day-long hearing into the case. The trio has been arrested on October 2 after the NCB carried out a raid on a party onboard a cruise ship that was headed for Goa from Mumbai.
