Shah Rukh Khan had once shared an interesting story on why Ananya Panday's dad Chunky Panday is close to him; read on  

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been in the news since his son Aryan Khan got detained and later arrested by the NCB earlier this month. Yesterday, actress Ananya Panday was summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the arrest of her friend Aryan Khan. 

And we saw Ananya and her father, Chunky Panday, reach the NCB office for questioning after a team conducted a search operation at her home in Khar West, Mumbai. It is also reported that NCB has more star kids and Bollywood personalities on its radar. 

We all know Ananya Panday is very close to Shah Rukh Khan's kids Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan. Not just that, Ananya's mother, Bhavana Panday, is a good friend of Gauri Khan. In the Netflix's show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives' last episode, we have seen how close the Khan family is with Pandays. 

In the show, it was said that Shah Rukh Khan used to babysit all the kids (Suhana, Ananya and Shanaya Kapoor)when their mothers used to go out for night parties. Back in 2005, when Shah Rukh was hosting the reality game show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun, he also shared one interesting tale on why Ananya's father Chunky Panday is close to him.

When Shah Rukh came to Mumbai from Delhi in the 80s, Chunky was the one who helped him and sheltered him. Panday also introduced Shah Rukh Khan to his Bollywood friends for work. 

Back then, Chunky was a star and had played an essential role in getting Shah Rukh stardom. Cut to the present, both Shah Rukh and Chunkey share a strong mutual love and respect bond.
