Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017. The couple has been serving major goals since then. However, reports state that the duo's marriage has hit a rough spot, and they are reportedly filing for divorce.

The rumours started to make rounds after Samantha Akkineni dropped the surname from her social media, and later, she was also absent from father-in-law Nagarjuna's birthday lunch.

The actress has remained tight-lipped about her divorce rumours. Reports states that the duo also reached a marriage counsellor and that her father-in-law Nagarjuna is trying to sort things out between the two. Yesterday Naga Chaitanya's upcoming movie Love Story 2021's trailer was released that star Sai Pallavi. While everyone was applauding the trailer, Samantha had not reacted at all.

Now the actress took to her Twitter account and retweeted husband Naga Chaitanya's tweet, and wrote, "Winner!! All the very best to the team." (sic) She also tagged Sai Pallavi in the tweet.

Naga Chaitanya replied warmly to Samantha Akkineni's tweet and wrote, "Thanks Sam!!" (sic).The Twitter exchange between the two left their fans elated. There have not been any official confirmation from the actors about the divorce. However, their wedding anniversary is approaching next month, so hopefully, fans will get a clear view of the situation. On the work front, Naga will also be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan and Samantha will star in Shakuntalam.
