Wriddhiman Saha, Amit Mishra, Prasidh Krishna make recovery from COVID-19

Indian cricketers in the form of Wriddhiman Saha, Amit Mishra and Prasidh Krishna had been diagnosed COVID positive during the 2021 Indian Premier League, thus leading to the suspension of the tournament. However, they have all made swift recoveries.

In a piece of good news for Indian cricketing fans, three of the Indian cricket stars who had tested positive for COVID-19 during the Indian Premier League 2021 have made swift recoveries. Wriddhiman Saha, Amit Mishra and Prasidh Krishna are the ones to have done so.While Saha and Mishra had tested positive on May 4, the IPL 2021 was suspended indefinitely the same day. Furthermore, Krishna tested positive four days later.

Saha announced his recovery from COVID on social media. "I have recovered. Thanks for all your wishes!" he wrote on Twitter.

Mishra, too, did the same on the social platform. "Today, I have been finally declared covid negative. At this moment, I just wanna thank our Frontline workers and tell them: You have my support and heartfelt appreciation for all you do. Meanwhile, Saha happens to be a member of the Indian team that is scheduled to travel to England for the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand next month, followed by five Tests against the host. Also, Krishna is among the four standby players scheduled to travel to England.

The travelling players have already begun their quarantine ten-day quarantine in Mumbai from Tuesday.
