Rohit Sharma, Rani, 3 others get Khel Ratna; full list of Arjuna, Dronacharya award winners

Bengaluru: Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) in the UAE, Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has been chosen for the prestigious Khel Ratna Award for the year 2020, the highest sporting honour in the country. He is the fourth cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar (1997-98), MS Dhoni (2007) and Virat Kohli (2018) to get the honour. Along with Rohit, para athlete Mariyappan Thangavelu, table tennis star Manika Batra, wrestler Vinesh Phogat and Indian women's hockey team captain Rani will get the Khel Ratna. Also, all the National Sports Awards were announced on Friday (August 21).
