IPL 2021: T Natarajan undergoes successful knee surgery

T Natarajan is an Indian pacer who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. Since the tour of Australia earlier this year, he has been having some trouble with his knee. While he has been ruled out of IPL 2021, he has also undergone surgery.

Indian pacer T Natarajan has undergone successful surgery on his knee. He had been ruled out of the 2021 Indian Premier League, having played just a couple of games for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

"Today, I underwent knee surgery- and am grateful for the expertise, attention and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff. I’m grateful to @bcci and to all that have wished well for me," wrote Natarajan on Twitter.

Natarajan has been having some troubles with his knee ever since the tour of Australia earlier this year. While he underwent rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, he missed the home series against England before being cleared for the IPL.

Natarajan only played against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore, claiming a couple of wickets at an economy of 8.62.
