This was Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) fourth win of the season in six matches, as they have risen to the fourth spot in the table. Meanwhile, CSK's horror start saw no end, as they succumbed to their fifth defeat of the season in seven matches, while they stay at sixth.

The horror show for three-time champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continued, as they succumbed to yet another defeat in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL), on Saturday. In Match 25, they were pounded by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 37 runs, while RCB rose to the fourth spot in the table. Consequently, some records were scripted.
