Sales figures have been zooming ahead and new players like the Kia Sonet are making their presence felt in the car market. Let's take a look at India's 10 top-selling cars today.

Maruti Suzuki's premium hatchback Swift holds the number one position. Maruti sold 24,859 units of Swift, recording a growth of more than 28% compared to October last year.PRICE: Rs 5.19 lakh onwards

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno sits comfortably at the second position on the list. Eighth in the top 10 list is the Maruti Suzuki Eeco, which recorded 13,309 units of sales. According to media reports, Eeco dropped one place below the Hyundai Grand i10 despite an 18 per cent jump in monthly sales since September.PRICE: Rs 3.9 lakh onwards

Capping off the list of top 10 cars in India is the Kia Sonnet, which seems to have gotten off to a flying start. The Kia Sonet has registered 11,721 units of sales in the month of October 2020.
