Self-Help Groups to Get Rs 1.25 Lakh Loan Support Under New Govt Scheme

Women's self-help groups can get loans up to Rs 25 lakhs. Each member can receive up to Rs 1.25 lakhs.

The government offers various loan assistance programs for women's self-help groups. These programs, provided by central/state governments, banks, and financial institutions, aim to improve the economic status of the poor and backward classes. TABCEDCO

TABCEDCO offers group loans up to Rs 25 lakhs for women and men in self-help groups. Each member can get up to Rs 1.25 lakhs.

Annual Interest Rate

The self-help group loan has a 6% annual interest rate and a 2.5-year repayment period. Groups must have a maximum of 20 members and be at least 6 months old.

Eligibility

BC/MBC/DNC annual income under Rs 3 lakhs, age 18-60, one member per family. Apply at district welfare offices, www.tabcedco.tn.gov.in, cooperative societies, banks. Documents: Caste, income, birth certificates, ration card, driver's license, Aadhaar.
