Why has 'Thoppil Joppan' release been delayed?

The release of Mammootty's upcoming film, Thoppil Joppam, has been delayed once again. The film was earlier scheduled to release with Mohanlal's 'Puli Murugan'.
As per a report, the film which was supposed to be released on October 7, has once again been pushed to a further date.
The film was slated to release with Mohanlal starrer ‘Puli Murugan’.
The film’s release has been delayed keeping in mind the petition filed by film producer - Shibu Thekumparam.
