The buzz is, Rohit has shortlisted Alia Bhatt to play the female lead. A source close to the filmmakers said that Rohit has even spoken to her about it.
The Udta Punjab actress has called herself a huge fan of Kareena. Alia even has said things like "Kareena is my role model", "I aspire to become Kareena," and also "I want to star in the remakes of Kareena's films," in the past.
