Just days before his death, actor Dilip Kumar took a stroll down memory lane when he took to Twitter to share the iconic scene with Vyjayanthimala from the 1955 classic Devdas.

Dilip Kumar shared a short clip on June 21 of his National Award-winning movie and said, "No artist is bigger than the character he's playing."

The scene, which is considered one of the best acts in the cinematic legend's career that spanned over five decades, shows him reminiscing about Chandramukhi (Padma Shri recipient Vyjayanthimala) while drowning out his sorrow in alcohol. 

The period film, based on the Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay novel Devdas, was directed by Bimal Roy.
