A video of the actor kissing her hand, on her wedding day, as her late ex husband Sunjay Kapur stood beside her, keeps circulating on social media. Yes, you read that right. Rumours Of Their Love Story 

Reports have it that Akshaye and Karisma were to be husband and wife at some point. This was when Karisma was at the peak of her career. Rumours also say that Karisma reportedly grew closer to Akshaye after her split from Ajay Devgn. It is reported that Karisma's mother, Babita, did not want her to slow down during an extraordinary time in her career and get married. Karisma eventually married industrialist Sunjay Kapur in 2003, though the marriage ended. The couple had two children. Sunjay passed away on June 12, 2025, from natural, cardiac-related causes while playing a polo match in Windsor, England.
