When Akshay Kumar got trolled for 'abusing' Lord Rama in his film Good Newwz (Watch)

Akshay Kumar once got slammed by angry netizens when he allegedly made fun and abusing Lord Rama in his film Good Newwz.

Social media users have been slamming the actor for disrespecting the Hindu god in the name of delivering cheap humour on screen. After his film, Good Newwz's trailer, was released online, he found himself in a spot.

In the controversial scene from Good Newwz, a man holding his baby was seen explaining to Akshay at a party how they named his son Hola Ram. 

The man reasons for naming his son was because he was born at Holi festival. To which then, Akshay replies, "Acha hua apka bacha Lohri pe paida nahi hua..warna..."

Akshay's joke indirect reference to male's genitals has annoyed people a lot. Soon Akshay was trolled for associating the Hindu god with cheap humour to tickle the funny bone of the audience. 

Meanwhile, Akshay will soon shart shooting for his next film Ram Setu, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandes and Nushrratt Bharuccha. A few days ago, they all went to Ayodhya for mahurat and met UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
