As Ajith's film, Vivegam is all gearing up for a big release in August, the actor recently visited Tirupathi to offer his prayers to Lord Venkateshwara.
The film is directed by Siruthai Siva and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Vivegam is one of the most-awaited films down South.
During his visit, Ajith was draped in a traditional silk mundu paired with a white shirt and spotted offering prayers at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam on July 17.
Unlike other actors in the industry, Ajith doesn’t aggressively promote films. However, ahead of his movie’s release, the actor makes sure to visit Tirupathi and seek the blessings of Lord for a successful flick. It has become a ritual of sorts.
In a widely shared video, Ajith is spotted clicking selfies with his fans and shaking hands with them on his way out of the temple. In a few hours, the video of Ajith acknowledging his fans was viral on social media.
Vivegam is one of the most-awaited Kollywood films of 2017. The film is directed by Siruthai Siva, which also marks his third collaboration with Ajith. Previously, the actor-director duo has delivered hit films like Veeram and Vedalam. The film, which will hit screens on August 10, is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
