Urvashi blames ex-husband Manoj for her drinking habit

Urvashi said that she was a non-drinker but after getting married to Manoj K. Jayan she became an alcoholic.
The actress in recent months has been in news for her aggressive retorts during her divorce proceedings.
In a recent interview with a Kerala-based magazine, Urvashi said that she was a non-drinker but after getting married to Manoj K. Jayan she became an alcoholic.
"In Manoj’s family everyone used to drink together and slowly she turned to become a habitual drinker," she revealed.
Urvasi got separated from Manoj in 2008 and married a Chennai-based-builder Sivaprasad on November 2013.
In the same interview, Urvashi also disclosed that she wants to write an autobiography on her life. The actress wanted to attend college for studies, however, it didn’t happen.
Urvashi is a well-known actress and done around 400 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. She, however, has made it very clear that she doesn’t want her daughter to pursue acting.
