Ahead of her latest release Nishabdham in which she stars opposite R Madhavan, the name of 38-year-old Anushka Shetty are on thousands of posts on social media. Anushka who stamped her authority in Telugu and Tamil industry with Arundhathi will be seen playing a mute.  

The trailer for Arundhathi star Anushka Shetty's latest film, Nishabdham shows signs that prove the south star is bankable to make the flick a hit. The 1 minute 25 second trailer released at 12:12 pm and has become a trending topic on Twitter prompting netizens to air comments about previous records achieved.

The film, directed by Hemant Madhukar, will release on April 2. Gopi Sunder who tasted success with the songs of Mollywood's Ennu Ninte Moideen is the music director for the movie.

The trailer shows Shetty making only hand gestures, indicating that she will be playing a mute. R Madhavan who plays the role of a musician will share screen space with her in Nishabdham, a thriller set in the backdrop of USA.

Shetty is a known name in the Telugu and Tamil film industry and has enjoyed great success. Anushka was paired opposite Surya in Singam, which became a massive hit. The actress was also roped in by SS Rajamouli for his magnum-opus 'Baahubali'

The actress, who has delivered back-to-back hits and ensured the producers reap benefits, is perceived as a lady superstar of the industry.
