Toxic Advance Booking: Yash’s Film Nears Rs 30 Crore, Bumper Sales Set Box Office Buzz

Toxic Advance Booking is off to a strong start, with Yash’s action thriller nearing the Rs 30 crore mark in Day 1 pre-release sales, raising expectations for a massive opening at the box office.
Yash’s much-awaited Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is creating a strong buzz even before its theatrical release. The action thriller has recorded an impressive response in advance booking, with more than 4.73 lakh tickets sold across domestic markets.
According to Sacnilk data, Toxic has already collected ₹18.84 crore from over 12,600 shows. The film’s Kannada and Hindi versions are leading the advance business, contributing ₹9.6 crore and ₹7.72 crore, respectively, through 2D screenings.
Including blocked seats, Toxic’s Day 1 advance booking gross has reached ₹27.38 crore. With three days still remaining before its release, the film is expected to cross the ₹30 crore mark if the current pace continues.
Karnataka Leads Toxic’s Advance Sales
Karnataka has emerged as Toxic’s biggest market so far, contributing ₹10.69 crore from 1,744 shows. The state has also recorded 742 nearly full shows, highlighting the strong anticipation for Yash’s return to the big screen.
Gujarat currently has the highest number of shows at 2,319, while Maharashtra follows with 2,189 shows. However, their collections remain comparatively modest at ₹1.17 crore and ₹1.33 crore, respectively.
West Bengal, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have also contributed to the film’s pre-release business, recording ₹89.51 lakh, ₹87.92 lakh and ₹80.29 lakh, respectively.
Toxic Set for Multilingual Release
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic boasts an ensemble cast featuring Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 26, releasing in Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. With advance bookings already showing strong momentum, all eyes are now on Toxic’s opening-day performance.
