Toxic Advance Booking: Yash’s Film Crosses ₹28 Crore Before Release, Beats Bantwara and Awarapan 2

Yash’s much-awaited Toxic is creating a strong buzz ahead of its August 26 release. The film has already crossed ₹28 crore in India advance bookings, surpassing the pre-release figures of several anticipated films.

Kannada superstar Yash’s much-awaited action drama Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is already creating a massive buzz at the box office. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26 and has recorded an impressive advance booking response across India.

Toxic Advance Booking Crosses ₹28 Crore

According to the latest booking data available as of 8 PM on August 24, Toxic has earned ₹28.34 crore in advance bookings across India. The figure excludes blocked seats. Including blocked seats, the total booking value rises to around ₹36.87 crore.

Across all languages and formats, the film has sold 7,74,833 tickets through 15,828 shows. With another day left before its theatrical release, the numbers indicate strong audience interest in Yash’s upcoming film.

The film has also surpassed the advance booking figures of Sunny Deol’s Bantwara and Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2, further highlighting the scale of anticipation around Toxic.

Hindi 2D Leads Advance Booking Race

The Hindi 2D version is currently the biggest contributor to the film’s advance sales. It has generated ₹13.45 crore from 4,01,717 tickets across 12,183 shows. The average ticket price for the Hindi 2D version stands at ₹309.

Meanwhile, the Kannada 2D version has collected approximately ₹1.20 crore from 2,87,531 tickets across 1,723 shows. Its average ticket price is considerably higher at ₹405.

Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam Versions Add to Total

The Tamil 2D version has earned around ₹80.68 lakh from 50,108 tickets across 1,134 shows, with an average ticket price of ₹157.

The Malayalam 2D version has recorded approximately ₹26.79 lakh from 13,709 tickets across 416 shows, while the Telugu 2D version has collected around ₹17.51 lakh from 6,931 tickets across 126 shows.

With advance bookings continuing ahead of release, Toxic is expected to make a strong opening at the box office.
