The Great Father teaser: Check out Mammootty's rebel avatar

Mammootty is playing the role of a high-profile builder David Nainan Koshy, who seems to be a rebel.  The movie also features Tamil actor Arya, who is the antagonist in the film and Sneha is the lead actress.

It has set a new record in the history of Mollywood, where, a film teaser is crossing 1 Million views in such a short span of time. The teaser of The Great Father, which was released on Facebook page of August Cinema and was first screened in the theatres on Friday, February 10 along with Prithviraj’s film Ezra. 

According to the reports, Mammootty is playing the role of a high-profile builder David Nainan Koshy, who seems to be a rebel. 

The teaser opens with a cop telling David that he doesn’t look like a guy who smokes. And cut to the next scene, where we see David comes out of a building while smoking a cigarette with full-on attitude. 

The video ends with an explosion in the same building from where David came out with a loud noise but fails to get any attention from David. Probably, he is the one who triggered the explosion. 

The highly promising teaser is rich with Mammootty's super-stylish looks and Gopi Sundar's brilliant background score. The movie also features Tamil actor Arya, who is the antagonist in the film and Sneha is the lead actress.

The story, directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni, follows the complex relationship between a father and a daughter, played by Mammootty and Anikha.

The Great Father, which is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya for August Cinema, will hit the theatres on March 30.
