Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin is celebrating of his acting debut, with Rani Mukerji's hit cop film 'Mardaani'. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tahir penned down his thoughts on receiving a warm response from the audience as he reflected on his journey. "I still remember this day so clearly; the quiet anticipation before release and the incredible warmth that followed," he wrote.

Tahir also expressed gratitude to the entire team along with his fans. "To the audience and fans who embraced the film then and have continued to follow my journey since, your constant support over the years truly means the world. It's rare for a character to stay with people for this long, and I'm deeply grateful for a debut that struck a chord. Grateful for where it all began, and even more excited for everything still to come," he added.

About The 'Mardaani' Franchise

'Mardaani', a 2014 action thriller film, was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film stars Rani Mukerji, with Jisshu Sengupta, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Saanand Verma. Tahir was cast opposite powerhouse performer Rani Mukerji, who played the role of a firebrand cop chasing a cold-blooded human trafficker; still, he managed to hold his own with his spine-chilling villainous act.

It was followed by a sequel titled 'Mardaani 2' in 2019.'Mardaani 2' was written and directed by Gopi Puthran. In the Mardaani film series, Rani Mukerji portrays Shivani Shivaji Roy, a tough, daring police officer who always defends the moral high ground and administers justice with great bravery.

'Mardaani 3' came out earlier this year, becoming the highest-grossing instalment. It also featured a new villain, with Mallika Prasad as the merciless, evil, and powerful 'Amma', she is shown as responsible for handling a beggar mafia, mostly targeting child victims. (ANI)
