Taapsee Pannu to work with Neeraj Pandey in Meera

The actress, who had impressed critics with her short scene in Baby, will once again play a special agent in the film, being produced by Pandey.

Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee will have pivotal roles in the film, to be directed by Shivam Nair. 

Taapsee, 29, will have to undergo intense training for her role as it will have several stunts. The movie will begin shooting in Mumbai from the end of September. 

"It's almost too good to believe that I'm getting to play the title role in my career so early. I was told about this film almost a year back, but I never believed it. Now finally it's happening, and I am ready to get trained in some intensive martial art form for an out and out action thriller," Taapsee said. 

The actress will be next seen in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's Pink with Amitabh Bachchan.
