Salman vs. Rajinikanth: Sultan, Kabali to release on same date?

Sultan and Kabali are two of the biggest upcoming releases of this year. 

Although Rajinikanth has a much larger fan following in South India, it will be interesting to see if he can take on Salman's might in Bollywood. If the two films do release on the same date, it is bound to be a giant clash at the box office. 

In Kabali Rajinikanth plays the role of a gangster, donning a salt-and-pepper look and a thick beard. Actress Radhika Apte plays Rajni's wife and Kannada actor Kishore plays the antagonist.

Salman's will be playing the role of a wrestler from Haryana in Sultan. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma as a female wrestler and Salman's on-screen love interest.
