Sudeep, Shivarajkumar scramble to avoid clash with Rajinikanth

The repeated delays in the release of Rajnikanth-starrer Kabali seems to be taking an unexpected toll on Sandalwood as well. All the bigwigs of the Southern film fraternity had aligned the release of their films in such a way that they don’t clash with Kabali.  However, despite such precautions, the sudden delay in Kabali's release might still affect other Kannada films.

Shivarajkumar's ‘Santeyalli Ninta Kabeera’ was scheduled to hit theatres a week after 'Kabali's release, i.e, on July 22.  ‘Kabali’ was earlier scheduled to release on July 15 but was later pushed to July 22.

So to avoid any sort of clash, ‘Santeyalli’ has again been pushed to July 29. Sudeep's Kotigobba has also been rescheduled after the announcement of 'Kabali's delay by a week.
