South actress Bhuvaneswari's son Midhun Srinivasan, who is pursuing his bachelor’s degree at a private college in Valasaravakkam, has been arrested by the Tirumangalam police.

According to Times Now, Midhun has been charged with harassing a third-year MBBS student and allegedly threatening to pour kerosene on her. He has also been stalking the girl on social media.

The youth was arrested on November 14 and further investigation is on. The victim had filed a complaint with the Anna Nagar police.

This is not the first time that Mithun has allegedly harassed the girl. The Times of India has quoted the police as saying that the man attacked the girl on two earlier occasions as well. In the first incident, he poured kerosene around her house and tried to set it ablaze.

However, he was stopped by the family members and some neighbours. Later, he was seen breaking CCTV cameras installed outside the house. The police said that Mithun has also gone to her college and harassed her.

According to Times Now, Mithun was married to a Sri Lankan woman called Asmitha and her parents have now approached the Madras High Court with a plea that the marriage be annulled.
