Sonakshi Sinha to romance Akshay Kumar in Namaste England
Synopsis
It will be the fifth time that Akshay and Sonakshi have been cast together. Both have worked in - Rowdy Rathore, Holiday and Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara and Joker.
Sonakshi took to Twitter to confirm her presence in the movie.
"Namaste England... Its official!," she wrote.
According to an article published in Mumbai Mirror, Akshay will play the role of a Punjabi Jaat while Sonakshi will be seen in a new avatar in Namastey England. Vipul Shah said, "Sonakshi will feature in a never-seen-before avatar. We are currently in the pre-production stage."
A media report claimed that Anushka Sharma and Kangana Ranaut were approached to play the female lead in the movie Namaste England.
Vipul Shah also added "We will be shooting in England, Paris, Switzerland, Brussels and Punjab. It could take us around six months to wrap up the film."
The film Namaste England is expected to begin shooting in August 2016. The movie is not the sequel to hit 2007 film Namaste London, which saw Katrina Kaif as the lead role.
