Shruti's fight with dad's girlfriend: Shruti reacts

Shruti was recently in news for her alleged showdown with dad Kamal Haasan’s girlfriend Gautami. Talking about arguments over her costume in the film, Shruti has said that her character needed a peppy, funky costume to make her look like a 19 year old. And the entire team helped her get the details right.

On further probing, the actress added that she has not had the time to clear the rumours with Gautami ever since the reports surfaced but as her dad is the most important person in her life, she respects anyone who is important to him.

The actress also feels that reacting to such rumours would take away from her work and thus she never pays heed to the gossip mills.
