Shilpa Shetty breaks down in front of police; reportedly asked Raj Kundra 'Why did you need to do this?'

Synopsis

Shilpa Shetty reportedly called Raj Kundra for ruining the family's reputation during a police raid that was carried at their house recently.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty reportedly lashed out at her husband Raj Kundra when he returned home for a search following being arrested in connection with a porn racket.

Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19, and there has been no relief for him since then. Yesterday, the court extended his judicial custody for 14 more days.

He has been booked under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. On Tuesday, he was sent to 14 days of judicial custody.

According to NDTV's report, Shilpa was seen scolding and shouting when Raj came home for a short time, "We have everything, what was the need to do all this."

Raj is currently in judicial custody because he was allegedly involved in producing and streaming pornographic content through an app called HotShots.

The report also suggests that the actress broke down after seeing her husband, Raj and spoke about their financial losses, "family's reputation was ruined, their endorsements in the industry were being cancelled and that she had to give up many projects."

According to ANI, “Shilpa was distraught after the interrogation. She and Kundra had a huge argument where she shouted and asked him the need to do such a thing and why he did everything. The crime branch team had to intervene between the couple to pacify the actress,” a source told ANI.
