Celebs pay tribute to Satyajit Ray on 95th birth anniversary

Ray, considered as one of the finest filmmakers India has ever seen, helmed classics like Pather Panchali, Charulata and Devi.

 

Satyajit Ray received many major awards in his career, including 32 Indian National Film Awards. Ray, who won the an Oscar in 1992, is regarded as one of the most influential directors in world cinema. 

 

He was also honoured with the Bharat Ratna in 1992.
