Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor's news of catching Covid -19 was making rounds until a statement of confirmation was made by his mother Neetu Kapoor on her social media.
Neetu Kapoor took to her social media accounts and shared Ranbir Kapoor's picture, stating that the actor is Covid-19 positive.
In the caption, she wrote, "Thank you for your concerns and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all the precautions."
Earlier, when his uncle Randhir Kapoor was asked about Ranbir's health, he disclosed nothing except confirming that the actor is physically unwell.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Randhir had said, "I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town."
A few days back, Neetu Kapoor was also tested positive while shooting for Jug Jug Jeeyo.
