Chiranjeevi's brother, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, dedicated an emotional note to the actor. In a post on X, Pawan Kalyan shared that just a thought about his brother brings joy to him, as he went on to touch on a few cherished memories.
"In our childhood, he went away from home to pursue his college education in Narsapur. And his homecoming for summer holidays was a festive season. A big pain and disappointment used to follow when he used to go back for his college. We all used to miss his absence and feel the vacuum. Home was never vibrant till he was back. In my school days, just walking beside him was a proud moment. I used to feel like I am walking with the world's most important person; by then, he was just in college," he wrote.

Fondly referred to as the "megastar", Chiranjeevi is celebrating his 70th birthday on Saturday. The birthday celebrations got bigger with the announcement of his upcoming film. Titled 'Kaaka', the film was announced with a glimpse that gives a look at two different sides of the megastar. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film was earlier referred to as #Mega158. 'Kaaka' is set to release in theatres on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi season.
